Description:
HPL Thermopal
The Thermopal Decorative High Pressure Laminate is a product corresponding to the European Standard EN 438 and to ISO 4586. The formaldehyde emission levels are significantly lower than the permissible limit for wooden materials and due to the very low permeability of the laminate, when glued to the wooden material, acts as a barrier preventing the eventual formaldehyde emission from the wooden core. The laminates are approved for contact with food and are resistant to solvents and household chemicals. HPL is fire resistant and delays the spread of flames, thus increasing the time for evacuation. The laminates are delivered as sheets with different thickness (from 0.6 to 3 mm) and size (length 2750 and 5500 mm, width 2020 mm). Three types are available – Standard, Postforming and Fire Resistant. The density of the material is app. 1500 kg/m3. The material can withstand 1800С for a short time (according to EN 438).
